Safety Executive

**1. Major Responsibilities and Duties**
a) Support the HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
b) Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety, security and environmental issues.
c) Support the HSE Manager in ensuring HSE compliance and perform regular HSE audits in the areas of operations.
d) Attend pre-job, planning and other meetings as required on HSE related matters.
e) Assist with developing HSE plans that comply with Company policies and procedures.
f) Ensure training, toolbox meetings, and drills are implemented as part of the company’s HSE program, i.e. emergency response systems, etc.
g) Investigate and complete the process for close out of all Accident Investigation Reports and prepare/submit lessons learned to HSE Manager.
h) Assist in the development of specific HSE procedures.
i) Conduct HSE trainings and orientation to all employees and contractors.
j) Active participation during plant turnaround
k) Assist in fire safety tasks
l) Assist in ad-hoc HSE tasks/projects as require
**2. Job Specifications/Requirements**
Knowledge
- Good working knowledge in WSH and Fire Safety act and regulations
- Good working knowledge on safety system like PTW, LOTO, MOC etc.
Ability:
- Able to stay focused on the job throughout with emphasis on safety.
- Able to communicate effectively with the supervisors and workers.
**3. Education and Experience**:
- Education: Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator and beyond.
- Experience: 1 year of experience in process safety
**4. Working Conditions**:
- Able to work on harsh environment.
- Able to work in Jurong Island.(Transportation will be provided at Jurong Point Pickup)
**Salary**: $3,300.00 - $3,800.00 per month
