Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop piping design specifications for the wastewater treatment project
- Design and layout the piping systems, including process piping, utility piping, and plumbing, ensuring compliance with industry codes, standards, and local regulations.
- Prepare detailed piping drawings, isometric drawings, and piping material specifications using AutoCAD or other relevant software.
- Select and specify appropriate piping materials, valves, fittings, and other components based on project requirements and compatibility with wastewater treatment processes.
- Calculate and determine pipe sizing, pressure drops, flow rates, and hydraulic characteristics to ensure optimal performance of the piping systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to procure piping materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Conduct field inspections and surveys to verify piping installations, identify any deviations or deficiencies, and propose corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of piping design activities, including drawings, specifications, calculations, and correspondence.

**Requirement**:

- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Professional certifications or licenses are advantageous.
- Proven experience in piping engineering, preferably in the wastewater treatment or semiconductor industry.
- Strong knowledge of piping design principles, codes, and standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for piping design and documentation.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize activities, and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Bilingual (Chinese & English) to liaise with Chinese speaking associate
