My client is looking for a talented Software Engineer on the trading desk to build cutting-edge solutions that drive systematic trading strategies.

You’ll develop robust software solutions tailored for quantitative research and trading activities. You’ll be designing, coding, and maintaining tools that support the desk’s systematic trading framework. Create and sustain tools that efficiently manage real-time market data feeds, and build systems for trade execution and performance monitoring. You’ll be working frequently with time series data.

Implement proactive systems that facilitate quantitative research, with a focus on monitoring and issue detection. Work closely with Portfolio Managers and the trading team in an open, engaging atmosphere throughout the investment process.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
Expertise in C++ and Python (C++ at minimum). This isn’t a pure quantitative role - you should have a strong understanding of compsci fundamentals, SDLC, including version control, unit testing, and debugging.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field from a top university is preferred.

3-15 years of experience in developing trading systems, with solid knowledge of market feeds and execution systems in a systematic environment.
