Your main duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Develop App/Software that meets Volt’s ecosystem needs
- Lead App and backend Charge Point Operating Platform (CPOP) development and maintenance for Singapore market, in close collaboration with IT department, to ensure App and CPOP meets customer and user requirements
- Kickstart, develop and maintain Volt App and CPOP for regional markets, including but not limited to Vietnam and Thailand
- Manage both Starcharge/Wanbang App development teams as well as any external vendors that are onboarded to assist with App development
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within stipulated budgets

Optimise Hardware/Software Interface to deliver overall customer satisfaction
- Work closely with internal and external development teams to ensure uptime and availability for Volt’s charging service in Singapore and overseas markets
- Resolve hardware, software and/or problems with hardware/software interface in a timely manner

Deliver technical solutions that helps Volt distinguish ourselves from our competitors
- Upgrade Volt’s suite of solutions that value-add to our customers and drivers, including but not limited to:

- Dynamic load balancing capabilities
- Lot Hogging capabilities
- Execute e-roaming with other CPOs, OEMS, others
- Onboarding of driver fleets (e.g. Taxi fleets)
- Other solutions as required

Operations & Maintenance
- Assist in equipment specialist scope and liaise/engage with relevant LEW to fulfil TR25 Annex B, C and D
- Assist with firmware update and software configuration of EV chargers prior to operational deployment
- Assist O&M team with hardware and software issues during maintenance phase

Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the Head of department from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Possess a Degree in Engineering with 5 years of working experience in the engineering/software space
- Hands-on experience with EV charging infrastructure; both hardware and software
- Starcharge equipment specialist certification
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills
