**Operating Theatre Nurse’s Job **Responsibilities**:
- Assist in paediatric sedation
- Ensure communication with Anaesthesiologist and Radiation Oncologist throughout the procedure to ensure a successful treatment
- Ensures patients’ safety at all times.
- To check crash cart, emergency equipment and supplies daily.
- Provide pre and post-operative nursing care.
- Assist the Nurse Clinician/Manager in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient’s care.
- Adhere the practices and SOPs to provide safe patient care.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain high professional standards in patient care.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Manager or Doctor
**Enrolled Nurse’s Job Responsibilities**:
- General nursing duties in radiology clinic services including patient preparation, pre-procedure questionaire, patient in&out of procedure room and post procedure care.
- Able to perform cannulation & blood drawing
- To assist doctor during consultation or in any procedures / treatment
- Answer any phone call enquiries regarding to pre & post procedure care.
- Follow up with patients on any feedback / concerns that they may have
- Interact and coordinate with different teams to ensure that the centre's operations is running smoothly and efficiently
- Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of all nursing items.
- Assist in collating patients' medical results and documents any patient assessment findings and progress
- Provide administrative support to the department when required
- Cover AHP radiology department when required
- Any other adhoc duties as assigned by the Imaging/Wellness Manager
**Requirements**:
- Singapore registered nurse **holding a post-registration qualification **in operating theatre nursing**
- Operating theatre experience of not less than 6 months assisting the medical practitioner in the surgical procedure
- Possess Singapore Nursing Board Practising Certificate
Possess ACLS/BCLS certifications
