DESIGNATION : Deputy Director (Estate Management)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Helming this team of professionals, you will strategically review and holistically oversee the physical planning, facilities management and horticulture-related projects of Gardens by the Bay. These include managing design reviews, project management, procurement, implementation of infrastructure projects, facilities management and operational planning. To succeed in this role, you would need to establish strong partnerships with professional stakeholders to facilitate enhancement, synergize workflows and enhance collaboration across functions and teams.
Positioning as a Garden for the future, a world leader in environmental engineering and sustainability; you will also be called upon to source for innovative and cutting-edge technologies; to support the Gardens’ sustainability-related projects, its operational work as well as to introduce new edutainment attractions to delight our visitors as a horticultural and landscape wonder.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in leading team(s)
- Good knowledge in construction, facilities, maintenance and asset management
- Opportunistic to leverage on technology and innovation to support the Gardens’ longer term goal as an international themed attraction
- Keen eye for aesthetics to enhance the overall beauty and experience in the Gardens
- Excellent management, supervisory, communication and leadership skills as well as ability to lead teams of diverse professionals to drive our core business as a horticultural attraction going forward
