Creative Marketing

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative intern who shares Maverick Made.’s passion for craftsmanship, sustainability, and unconventional design. As part of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to learn the inner workings of an artisan brand while contributing your ideas and skills to our growing community.

You will work closely with the founder and support various aspects of the business, including marketing, content creation, and operational tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced creative environment while actively shaping the future of a unique artisan brand.

**Job Scope1. Marketing & Content Creation (60%)**
- Assist in developing creative, engaging content for **social media platforms** (Instagram, TikTok, etc.), including reels, posts, and stories.
- Research and propose **trending topics** in fashion, sustainability, and artisan craft for educational and entertaining content.
- Support the planning, shooting, and editing of **video campaigns** and photo shoots.
- Design digital assets, such as graphics for **newsletters, website updates, and promotional materials**.
- Monitor social media analytics and provide insights on improving **audience engagement**.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to align with brand themes such as **freedom of self-expression** and **local lifestyle.**

**2. Brand Operations & Customer Experience (30%)**
- Support day-to-day **e-commerce operations**, including inventory tracking, packaging, and logistics.
- Assist in **event planning** for workshops, pop-ups, or IRL community meetups like skateboarding or brunch gatherings.
- Help maintain the brand’s ethos of **authenticity** by managing customer queries, ensuring a **personalised, high-touch customer experience.**

**3. Research & Innovation (10%)**
- Conduct competitor research and identify opportunities for **collaborations** with independent brands or artists.
- Stay updated on trends in **sustainable fashion** and propose ways to implement innovative practices in Maverick Made.’s operations.
- Research tools or techniques to **improve small-batch production workflows**, e.g., screen printing or leatherwork innovations.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**
- **Creativity**: Strong eye for design, aesthetics, and trends relevant to Millennials and Gen Z.
- **Content Creation**: Basic photography, videography, and editing skills (experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, or CapCut is a plus but not required).
- **Social Media Savvy**: Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok; understanding of building community through engaging posts.
- **Organisation**: Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise efficiently, and meet deadlines.
- **Passion**: A genuine interest in sustainability, artisanal craft, and Maverick Made.’s ethos of unconventionality.
- **Flexibility**: Comfortable with both independent work and collaboration in a small team setting.
