**What you’ll do**:
You will be joining the Fundraising and Volunteer Management department, where the funds raised by the team will support needy heart patients and their families through uncertain times and sustain Singapore Heart Foundation’s (SHF) ongoing rehabilitation and community outreach programmes.

**Job Description**:

- Provide strategic direction and operational leadership with the team to manage and optimise existing donor database and donor relations.
- Provide strong stewardship and meaningful engagement with existing donors, stakeholders, corporations, and partners.
- Actively prospect for new donors/sponsors to contribute towards SHF’s programmes and events through various channels and means.
- Solicit and acquire new philanthropic gifts from both existing, new, and prospective donors, including an active SHF legacy giving programme.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify new philanthropic networking opportunities.
- Draft innovative proposals and presentations to present SHF’s case for corporate and donor support and sponsorship.
- Organise internal and external fundraising/partnership campaigns and events.
- Work with outreach programmes and Comms teams to raise awareness of heart health.
- Work with Finance team to ensure compliance with current legislation/regulations and policies pertaining to charities, gifts, and relevant compliance issues.
- Report progress of fundraising activities to the management/Fundraising & Partnership Committee.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work or as assigned by the supervisor/CEO.
- Design strategies for engaging volunteers to attract, retain, and optimize their contributions to support SHF’s programmes and activities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising and volunteer management functions or similar capacity.
- Comparable experience in client-facing roles, non-profit organisations, and business development strongly favoured.
- Proven track record and outstanding performance in a target-based environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills - effective client engagement, relationship building, partnership development and collaborating with stakeholders, especially in non-profit and healthcare.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
- Creative problem-solving and good project management skills.
- Good network with corporations, foundations, donors is desired.
- Highly internet savvy, with good MS Office skills.
