Responsibilities:
MaxLinear is seeking a Senior Staff Systems Validation Engineer to join our high-performing design center team. In this role, you will focus on:

Pre-silicon verification and post-silicon system validation
- Test case and test automation scripts development and test plan execution
- Help to debug system (hardware, software and firmware), provide expert support to internal as well as external customer
- Silicon characterization and failure analysis

Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science or Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 8 years’ experience of hardware development and system verification in consumer/electrical products
- Familiar with system board design/debugging and usage of lab equipment like Oscilloscope and Logic analyzer
- Experience of silicon verification, system validation program development and test plan execution
- Familiar with PCI/PCI-E/ETHERNET/SPI bus protocol
- Experience of C/C++ Programming language and Python script
- Knowledge of system debug tools JTAG, EJTAG and traffic generator script such as Spirent Test Center is preferred
- Good understanding of ETHERNET switch, GPHY, DSP, line driver, ADC/DAC and EMC is plus
- Team player, very proactive and self-motivated
