Tasks
- Establish a new expert field for Chemical Compatibility within BA UX
- Technology development from perspective of chemical processes involved in product components manufacturing
- Definition of appropriate material stacks, materials and processes for BA UX products from chemical point of view
- Chemical characterization of materials within component specifications
- Chemical compatibility analysis of materials for different components
- Support chemistry relevant qualification failures analysis and technical counterpart with suppliers and customers for correspondent topics
- Drive specific technologies scouting (e.g. bonding and coating materials, functional foils), roadmaps and solutions benchmarking from own expert area perspective
- Co-work with other departments (e.g. operations, experts) in regards to display system materials (e.g. optical bonding, coating, shielding tapes) evaluation and release

**Qualifications**:

- Advanced knowledge in chemistry field with focus on display materials, plastics and die cast
- Advanced understanding of the applied chemical processes in display components and display products manufacturing.
- Systematic analysis of potential materials and combinations (tools like problem solving, DOE, DFSS,...)
- Able to build up a network and experienced in working in cross functional and international teams
- German and English language skills required
- Knowledge in working with MS Office, as well as creating presentations, standards and trainings
- Hands on mentality and experienced in challenging work environment as well as escalations
