**THE POSITION**

The **Factory Manager **manages the production process and schedule, overseeing quality control and ensuring products are produced on time and projects completed within the deadline. He is to organize and utilizes needed manpower resources, materials, machine & method. Derive timeslime for production, supervising the processes and adjusting schedules when needed with daily update of production activities to Operation Manager by end of the day.

This position is employed under head office in Singapore but has to station in Johor Bahru factory.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and manage a 4M Manufacturing System in the work shop.
- Train staff to understand Deliveries, Quality, Process Flow and Product knowledge.
- Update daily production status to Operation Manager before 5pm daily.
- Develop and manage tracking systems to analyze production rates and product quality and identifying production issues before they arise.
- Coordinate manufacturing staff to maximize efficiency, including creating schedule, managing labor costs, arranging deliveries (to SG or Malaysia) or self-collection at factory.
- Manage inventory to ensure continuous of supply needed to complete production of finished goods promptly and efficiently, placing orders when necessary, in advance so inventory is re-stocked before depletion
- Fulfill administrative duties, completing production reports, overtime schedule with detail production rates and worker performances.
- Schedule training programs for staff’s improvement at least twice a month to enhance workers’ efficiency and productivity.
- Present production information to management, including solutions for potential improvement and strategies for implementing these suggestions.
- Contribute to the hiring process, assess and recommend potential worker(s) to further develop.
- Safety at Work MUST be practice within factory premises and implement New Safety Rules whenever Near-Miss incident occurred or through observation of any unsafe method or procedure.
- Ad-hoc duties related to manufacturing may be assigned by Operation Manager or Superior.

**CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS**
- Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years hands-on experience in High Mix Low Volume manufacturing environment.
- Good track record in leading a manufacturing operation.
- Ability to lead Production Team to meet or exceed the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) set by Operation Manager, such as Productivity, Quality, and On-Time delivery, etc.
