Develop and deliver curriculum: Design and implement a curriculum that aligns with the AEIS syllabus and prepares students for the examination. This includes creating lesson plans, selecting appropriate teaching materials, and integrating effective teaching strategies.
- Teach English language or Mathematics: Provide instruction in English language skills, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Teach Mathematics concepts and problem-solving techniques relevant to the AEIS examination.
- Conduct assessments: Regularly assess students' progress through quizzes, tests, and assignments. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their performance.
- Provide individualized support: Identify individual learning needs and provide personalized support to students who require additional assistance. Offer remedial teaching and extra practice sessions to address students' weaknesses.
- Track student performance: Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, grades, and overall performance. Prepare progress reports and communicate with parents or guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress.
- Foster a positive learning environment: Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, collaboration, and critical thinking. Establish classroom rules and manage student behavior effectively.
- Education and certification: A bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field is required. Additionally, possessing a teaching certification or license is beneficial.
- Subject expertise: Strong knowledge and expertise in English language and Mathematics, particularly the topics covered in the AEIS syllabus.
- Teaching experience: Prior experience in teaching, preferably with a government or international school is desirable. Experience in preparing students for standardized tests is an advantage.
