**Your background**
- Experience or knowledge of external market data vendors such as Bloomberg, Reuters etc
- Be able to **demonstrate proficiency** with Excel and Python and a reasonable subset of the following:

- Python, SQL, UNIX, Messaging (MQ, RV)
- An interest in market data analytics at the quant level
- Knowledge of Rates, FX, Credit, Commodities and Equities asset classes
- Experience working in risk, pricing and trade capture systems
- Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to work with diverse people from multiple disciplines across multiple time zones and at all levels of seniority
- A proven ability to understand the broad range of conflicting requirements around market data, solve the multi-dimensional problems that arise, develop a clear implementation approach and push through the adoption of your ideas.

**What you will do**
- Be part of Strat/quant for the QAR (Quantitative Analytics and Research) team.
- You will be the collaborating with various quant teams as well as desk facing strats across asset classes supporting cross products market data from Rates, FX, Credit, Commodities and Equities.
- Ensure the market data infrastructure meets the needs of the Global business.
- Work closely with the Quants to drive the market data analytics and technology infrastructure in a consistent direction
- Work closely with each line of business technology partners to ensure consistent usage of the market data and the underlying technology and drive the adoption of the future enhancements to both the data and the market data technology.
- Work closely with the support operations (Middle Office, Finance, Risk, Audit, etc) to ensure advances in market data and technology continue to satisfy their control requirements.
