**Front Office Trading Systems Support Specialist (Electronic Trading Platforms)**

**About the Role**:
We are working with a top-tier financial institution to identify a Trading Systems Support Specialist for a critical front-office technology role. The position involves supporting high-performance electronic trading platforms, including proprietary systems used by traders and institutional clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Trading Platform Support: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize electronic trading systems to minimize latency and downtime.
- Configuration & Deployment: Manage platform settings, connectivity, and integrations with liquidity providers and exchanges.
- Incident Management: Rapidly diagnose and resolve critical issues, escalating when necessary to maintain trading continuity.
- Business-Technology Liaison: Work closely with trading desks to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Release & Change Management: Assist with testing (UAT/SIT) and oversee production deployments.
- Process Improvement: Document workflows, refine support procedures, and contribute to automation initiatives.
- On-Call Coverage: Participate in a rotating shift to handle after-hours emergencies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in UNIX/Linux, SQL, and scripting (Python/Shell/Bash). Experience with FIX protocol or order management systems is a plus.
- Trading Knowledge: Familiarity with FICC, execution workflows, and algorithmic trading concepts.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, clear communication under pressure, and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English required. Additional language skills (e.g., Mandarin) are beneficial but not mandatory.
