**Responsibilities**:

- Performs or provide leadership in development, engineering, implementation and maintenance of IT-OT systems.
- Develops and deploy Basic and Advance Process Control strategies including safety automation in modular production system.
- Develops and/or implements of new production automation and digitalisation technology, techniques and methodology relevant in the process industry eg. Module type package.
- Prepares procurement document and liaises with contractors and supplier to ensure project deliverables and whenever necessary compliance to local regulations and standards.
- Responsible in defining and reviewing functional requirements/specifications, drawings and contract requirement.
- Supports plant startup, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of equipment and modular plants.
- Actively engages and participates in local and international technology associations, networks and activities eg. NAMUR.
- Performs documentation and update stakeholders on project status via meetings, written reports and presentations.
- Reports to project leaders and supervisor.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor/Master’s Degree or PhD (for scientist position) in Electrical and Instrumentation or related engineering discipline.
- Knowledgeable on state-of-the-arts and emerging automation technologies and concepts in the process industry eg. Modular Type Package is highly desired.
- Knowledgeable on the common programming languages used in automation with experience in prior IT-OT capital investment projects.
- Familiar with relevant local and international industrial automation best practices, standards, and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to influence others without direct supervision
- Flexibility to respond quickly to changing job demands and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to plan/organize tasks and consistently produce high quality results and documentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a multi-disciplined, cross-functional environment
