Senior Accountant

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
This position reports to the Business Development Director, and is responsible in overseeing the rest of the employees in the Accounts department.
- Supervise payments made to suppliers and process internet banking transactions
- Supervise the issuance of invoices, credit and debit notes
- Ensure general ledger are passed correctly in the accounting system
- Perform bookkeeping and handle full set of accounts for a few small entities
- Perform month end closing by reconciling and preparing Balance sheet schedules and accounting journals for a few small entities
- Supervise, check and ensure timely and accurate closing of month-end accounts for the rest of the entities
- Oversee the staff in managing Cash Flow of companies to ensure healthy cash flow
- Check and ensure timely and accurate submission of quarterly GST returns
- Supervise and guide account executives in all Accounts and Administrative matters
- Liaise with external parties including bankers, auditors, tax agent and corporate secretary to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements
- Constantly look into improvement of internal control procedures, processes, and policies
- Prepare financial statements for a few small entities
- Ad-hoc administrative task as assigned by the Management
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Min 3 years of relevant experience in a Supervisory role
**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:
- Lunch provided
- Transport pickup to and from Choa Chu Kang MRT
- 5 days work week: 8.30am to 5.30pm
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
