Position Overview

We are seeking an outgoing, technically proficient Technical Service Specialist to join our international team. In this role, you will be the key interface between Wilmar and our international customers, focusing on delivering superior technical service in the area of specialty fats and oils. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with R&D teams at our customers’ organizations, ensuring Wilmar is a trusted partner in supporting their innovation and product success.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage proactively with customer R&D professionals to foster collaboration and understand their challenges and needs—enabling us to deliver tailored value.
- Support Wilmar’s factories located outside of Singapore, providing technical input, troubleshooting, and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
- Work closely with our sales team and technical colleagues across countries to deliver integrated solutions and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities for product improvement and co-development, strengthening our long-term partnerships.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong technical knowledge in food science with at least 5 years of working experience (prior experience in specialty fats and oils is a merit).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; outgoing and approachable, capable of building trust with diverse R&D teams globally.
- Demonstrated cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity; experience working with teams and factories outside Singapore is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales and technical experts in multiple countries.
- Problem-solving mindset, with a knack for translating customer needs into actionable technical solutions.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
