Centre Caretaker/ Cleaner

We’re looking for a reliable and dedicated **Centre Caretaker** to join our warm and vibrant student care team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth daily operations of our centre so that our students can learn and play in a safe and welcoming environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily sweeping, mopping, and general cleaning of all areas within the centre
- Ensure all classrooms, shower room, and shared spaces are kept clean and well-maintained
- Prepare lunch before student arrival by portioning food from our central kitchen, including cutting fruits
- Clean plates and cutlery using the dishwasher after meal times
- Wash and clean dish towels on a daily basis
- Prepare and serve tea break for students each afternoon
- Refill student water bottles as needed throughout the day
- Ensure the centre is always clean, organised, and ready for use by students and staff

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in a similar role (preferred but not required)
- Able to work independently and follow hygiene protocols
- Responsible, punctual, and takes pride in cleanliness and order
- Enjoys working around children and in a school-like setting
- Physically fit and able to carry out cleaning and meal prep tasks
