**Senior COTS Engineer (GIS-ESRI)**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer **_specialising in ESRI GIS _**

**_technologies _**to join our agile development team. In this role, you will be **_responsible for _**

**_designing, implementing, and maintaining spatial data solutions using ESRI products _**

**_and FME, while providing technical leadership in geospatial services.
- **

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **_Design and implement FME workflows for spatial data transformation and integration _**
- **_Develop and maintain REST APIs for geospatial services _**and **_clash analysis using ESRI's ArcGIS Enterprise platform _**
- **_Optimise spatial queries and improve performance _**of GIS services
- **_Provide technical leadership in geospatial architecture decisions
- **

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- **_8+ years of experience in GIS development and spatial data analysis _**
- **_Strong expertise in ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise suite _**, including:

- ArcGIS Server
- ArcGIS Portal
- ArcGIS Enterprise SDK
- ArcGIS Pro
- **_Extensive experience with FME Desktop and FME Server _**
- **_Proficiency in developing and consuming REST APIs _**for spatial services
- **_Strong understanding of spatial databases ( _**_Oracle Spatial, PostGIS _**_) _**
- **_Basic experience with Python scripting for GIS automation _**
- **_Knowledge of web mapping technologies and standards (OGC) _**
- **_Experience working in agile development environments
- **

**Technical Skills**:

- **_ESRI Products: _**_ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS API for JavaScript _
- **_FME: _**_Desktop and Server workflows _
- **_Programming: _**_Python, JavaScript _
- **_Relational and Spatial Databases: _**_Oracle Spatial or PostGIS and Oracle or MySQL or MSSQL Server _
- **_Web Services: _**_REST APIs, SOAP _
- **_Version Control: _**_GitLab or equivalent _
- **_Spatial Analysis Tools & Data Transformation Tools
- **

**Good to Have**:
**_- Experience with Singapore Government GIS projects _**

**_- Knowledge of Singapore Government Technology Stack (SGTS) _**

**_- Experience with OneMap APIs _**

**_- Understanding of government security policies for spatial data _**

**_- Exposure to cloud-based GIS solutions _**

**_- Experience with spatial big data processing _**

**_- ESRI Technical Certifications _**
- **

**Project Experience**:
**_- Implementation of enterprise-level GIS solutions _**

**_- Development of spatial analysis tools and services _**

**_- Creation of automated spatial ETL workflows _**

**_- Integration of multiple spatial data sources
- **

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Conduct code reviews and ensure quality of GIS implementations _
- Participate in technical planning and architecture discussions _
- Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation _
- Troubleshoot complex spatial data issues _
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams _
- Provide technical consultation on GIS matters _
