Job Description

You will be reporting to Deputy Vice President. This position requires you to lead a team of 10 engineers who provides project implementation and technical support to all self service touchpoints/channels in SingPost to achieve part of the team’s vision. Vision is to build a Technical Centre of Excellence to provide leadership, drive best practices, support, research and training for Enterprise physical channels/touchpoints.

You will be working with differing levels and stakeholders comprising, but not the least, software development team, IT infra teams, delivery operations team and business owners to implement/maintain projects/current systems to meet business goals. You will help SingPost to grow its business by contributing and alignment to innovate, increase speed of delivery and maintain high level of maintenance.

Deep understanding of how the system works is of essence to support pre-implementation and post implementation with the ultimate goal to be mínimal dependent on vendor.

You are also required to monitor and report on service level goals and key performance indicators.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting DVP in organizing, planning and implementing strategy
- Assisting DVP in detailed study of engineering and maintenance element in projects.
- Coordinating day-to-day operations of front and backend
- Setting up and organizing meeting with stakeholders
- Improving storeroom processes by digitalization
- Assisting with procurement of inventory and supplies
- Reorganize current KBA documentation for standardization and ease of access by staff out of office
- Developing proactive maintenance regime for all systems
- Devising and setting up objectives to boost company productivity by exploring innovative way to optimize resources
- Ensuring that goals and objectives are met
- Administering high level of work safety and healthy environment by becoming Risk Assessment Leader
- Manager level Approver for Staff Claims in T & A System
- Interviewing and recruiting new employees
- Planning appropriate training to support team vision
- Driving team to be more performance driven.
- Delegating tasks to employees
- Supervising, leading and motivating employees
- Reporting any problems or accidents to DVP
- Filling in for DVP in case of his absence
- Helping with monitoring and tracking operating costs, budgets and resources
- Creating reports, analyzing, interpreting and presenting data
- Managing external/internal customers’ complaints and resolving their issues
- Maintaining good and regular relationship with vendor
- Manager Approver for Staff Claims in T & A system

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or similar field
- 3 years of experience as a Technical Manager or similar role
- Experienced in people management eg. hiring and performance appraisal
- Experience in leadership roles
- Ability to plan and organize
- Experience in managing budgets
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Proficiency in using MS Office
- Good knowledge in Power BI, Power apps, automation tools; etc is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to use data to make decision
- Ability to succeed in fast paced and innovative environment.
- Great interpersonal skills
