The role serves as the main point of contact on any sales and marketing related activities concerning the Discretionary Portfolio Management (“DPM”) products offered by Bank Julius Baer Singapore (the “Bank”). The incumbent will work in close collaboration with the Relationship Managers (“RMs”), pitch and market the DPM products to the existing clients and prospects. He/she will also be working closely with the Portfolio Managers (“PMs”), provide timely product and performance update to the Relationship Management Team.

Key performance indicators include the Net New Money (“NNM”) flow, target Asset Under Management (“AUM”) as well as the level of communication and activity in promoting the Bank’s DPM products.

**KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION**

**Client Management (internal & external)**
- Actively engage the RM Teams, market and create internal awareness of DPM products offered by the Bank
- Be a sparring partner to RMs in market and investment product related matters - support the RMs in prospect and client meetings, guiding RMs through the bank’s investment strategy and product offering as well as hosting regular desk meetings
- Support internal and external events, notably
- Lead / run sales and desk meetings, by providing updates on markets, sharing Julius Baer convictions on products and delivering tailored content (fitting the desk’s regional preference) and on demand presentations
- Presenting at internal and external events
- Act as an unbiased and holistic business enabler for client solutions, including cross-selling activities (Advisory and Discretionary Mandates, Funds, Structured Products, Credits, Global Custody, Wealth & Tax Planning etc.)
- Serve as 1st point contact for DPM Sales, After Sales and Marketing related matters, both for the PM and RM Teams

**Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management**
- Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Advising others concerning the DPM products
- Issue and promulgating analysis or reports concerning the DPM Products

- Possess a keen sense of ownership - able to see assigned tasks to completion with mínimal supervision
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Flexible and adaptable

**Professional and Technical**
- Relevant professional background in Banking and Finance, ideally with at least 7 years of relevant experience in DPM Product Sales, After Sales and Marketing segment of a Private Banking setup
- University degree and sound academic background in Finance
- Good understanding of financial market, financial products and industry landscape
- Further education in financial markets (CFA, ESG etc.) is an asset
- Pronounced knowledge in all asset classes and financial products (funds, structured products, etc.) in a portfolio context
- CACS Paper 1 and 2
- CMFAS Module 3, Module 6
- Familiar with financial software e.g. Reuters and Bloomberg
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficient in business Mandarin would be an advantage

**Regulatory**
- MAS RNF registered representatives to perform the regulated activities in Fund Management
- Familiar with regulatory expectations and requirements
