**Responsibilities**:

- Clous Engineer is also expected to support setting up DevOps platform for all the development activities within the team.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Build and operate cloud infrastructure using best industry practices in coordination with IT infrastructure and network teams
- Manage and continue improving cloud product reliability, availability, maintainability & cost/benefit - incl. automating scale down/up of environments
- Support data engineers / software engineers in setting up, optimizing and automating cloud engineering infrastructure (e.g. provisioning and deployment, etc)
- Manage cloud infrastructure cost and plan for the forecast of the future investment
- Build, operate and improve DevOps platform

**Requirements**:
**Technical Skills**:

- 3 + years hands-on experience with configuring, deploying and operating public cloud services of IAAS, PAAS and SAAS (preferably Microsoft Azure)
- Expertise in infrastructure as code (e.g. cloud formation, ARM, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Basic familiarity with network features (e.g. cloud network topology, BGP, routing, web (REST) APIs)
- Hands-on programming experience with Shell Scripting, Python and Scala programming
- Deep understanding and experience in cloud product availability (e.g. region, availability zone, data replication clustering)
- Experience in task automation (e.g. Azure Runbooks/Workbooks)
- Domain in Linux OS and its main distributions

**DevOps Methodologies**
- Domain in Azure DevOps platform (e.g. CI/CD, Pipelines, Build, Releases, Repos)
- Experience in Container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), etc) utilizing DockerFile, YAML, etc
- Experience with Git/Git Flow (versioning)

**Security**
- Understanding of network architectures suitable for different cloud topologies
- Good knowledge of security implications of public & private cloud infra design

**Cloud Economics**
- Knowledge of consumption driven TCO on cloud (i.e. understanding of cloud provider pricing vs internal costing for various config decisions)

**Education**
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: $6,000.00 - $8,400.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
