**Manager Airport Operation**:
**Position **Station Manager - Singapore

**Reports to **SVP - Ground Services & Projects

**Role Overview and Responsibilities**:
Planning and managing station operations, security, and staff including GHA staff; partnering with commercial and sales-related initiatives and activities; as well as acting as Vistara’s representative for all keylocal requirements and stakeholders.

**Safety and Security**:

- To ensure that safety audit targets are met at all times, findings are accorded with and action taken and report is sent to the head office as per the expected timelines.
- Participate periodic security drills and collaborate with security team at the Airport to ensure secure operation.
- Ensure compliance of all regulatory, safety and security requirements, as required by the Authorities and/orcompany policies.
- Ensure safe work practices to minimize risk of injury to personnel or damage to aircraft.
- Ensure all baggage-related policies related to safety and security are strictly followed.

**Airport Operations and Service Delivery**:

- To manage and supervise functions and activities within the scope of ground handling operations such as: ramp operations, passenger services, baggage services, cargo planning, load control (including weight and balance issues), ground support equipment to support the above activities.
- To conduct daily briefings and regular audits to ensure that the operations are performed in accordance with all the relevant standards, policies and procedures.
- To ensure seamless and professional handling during operational situations including irregular operations
- To ensure aircraft are properly serviced and cleaned by GHA during turnarounds and overnight halts
- Providing appropriate feedback to head office for future developments **.**

**On time performance**:

- To ensure effective and efficient management of the aircraft rotation and to ensure compliance with the regulatory and local directives.
- To manage daily airport service operations through the ground handlers and insource team members by ensuring effective team management.
- Responsible for driving local OTP initiatives and raising OTP awareness amongst all the stake holders at the Airport. Maintain effective relationship with key OTP stakeholders (OCC, Network planning, Line team, Crew performance, etc).
- Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely display and dissemination of STD / ETD / STA / ETA across all customer touchpoints through close coordination with OCC.

**IRROPS and Crisis management**:

- Handling all aspects of IRROPS, including customer management and communication, local customer handling, visa, and accommodation requirements, and FIM / IRROPS agreements creation and management with other airlines.
- In conjunction with the relevant head office departments (safety, crisis team and OCC) and local organizations, develop and maintain an effective and comprehensive contingency plan for irregular operations,safety, security and emergency procedures with the local airport/aerodrome operators, local authorities and the company emergency response manual.
- Participate in periodic emergency drills organized by the Airport operator along with the key team members.

**Planning and vendor management**:

- Effective monitor and manage Service Level Agreements (SLA) of vendors and meeting the Vistara standards and specifications.
- Input and timely escalations to contracts team / head office on identified opportunities for improvements and cost effectiveness.

**Sales & Business Development**:

- Work with Sales department and International Sales Managers for Sales channel development including direct, agency and corporate sales.
- Market development including collaborations with banks, hotels and other trade partners.

**Ancillary Sales**:

- To ensure ancillary sales and collections at station are maximized and targets met

**Administration and Relationship management**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal partners, Airport operator, Air traffic control, Security agencies and all other key partners at the Airport.
- To support recruitment selection, staff appraisals, disciplinary proceedings as required.

**Leadership, Development, and Ethics**:

- To constantly re-evaluate training and development needs and actively coordinate with head office / training department for arranging the batches.
- Champion the “Vistara Service Culture and Work Ethics” throughout the staff at the Airport.
- Be a passionate and detail-oriented role model for staff in all aspects of the job.
- Promotion of an ethical environment as per Vistara Standards and financial management. Prior experience and training and understanding of the Vistara work culture and policies

**Financial Management**:

- Prepare and control Airport budget per the network program and take corrective action if required.
