- **Deal Sourcing and Origination**:Actively search for potential investment or acquisition opportunities in the Southeast Asia (SEA) and Middle East regions within the upstream oil and gas sector.
Establish and maintain relationships with industry contacts, including company executives, industry experts, and financial advisors, to stay informed about potential deals.
- **Market Research and Opportunity Identification**:Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential targets for mergers and acquisitions in the upstream oil and gas fields.
Analyze industry reports, financial data, and market forecasts to assess the viability and potential value of each opportunity.
- **Strategic Planning and Analysis**:Develop and implement strategies for mergers and acquisitions in the upstream oil and gas sector that align with the company's overall strategic goals and objectives.
Perform detailed asset assessments and risk analyses to evaluate the potential impact of each transaction on the company's portfolio and financial position.
- **Negotiation and Agreement**:Engage in negotiations with target companies and their shareholders to reach mutually beneficial agreements for mergers and acquisitions.
Work closely with legal and financial advisors to structure deals and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legal requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in petroleum engineering, geology, business, or a related field to demonstrate a strong foundation in the oil and gas industry.
- Possess extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions within the oil and gas industry, particularly in the upstream sector, to demonstrate a deep understanding of industry dynamics and challenges.
- Exhibit excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with multiple stakeholders and facilitate successful deal-making
- Have familiarity with relevant regulations and legal requirements in the oil and gas industry to ensure compliance and mitigate risks associated with mergers and acquisitions.
