**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform system analysis, design, development, and implementation of AS400-based solutions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement enhancements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, procedures, and configurations.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and IT staff on AS400 operations and best practices.
- Ensure data integrity and security in the AS400 environment.
- Participate in system upgrades and migrations as needed.
- Stay current with AS400 technologies and industry trends to provide recommendations for improvements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an AS400 Consultant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of RPG, COBOL, SQL, CL, and other AS400 programming languages.
- Experience with DB2 database management and systems administration.
- Familiarity with system performance tuning and optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
