Senior Process Engineer

Due to current demand, PM Group is currently looking for a Process Engineer that will be involved on a range of projects, from conceptual stage through to detailed design. He/She should come with technical knowledge in process from a similar industry such as Pharmaceutical manufacturing
**Your day to day role would involve the following activities**:
- Be able to lead design of process and utilities - preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing calculations
- Co-ordination of design with other design disciplines and equipment suppliers
- Ownership of equipment modules and packages through design and procurement phases
- Completion of Design Risk Assessments
- Participation in Technical and Safety reviews
- Interfacing with client design team/end users
- Process optimization/site support
- Delivery of agreed design scope within budget hours and schedule
- Co-ordination of design with other design disciplines and equipment suppliers
- Support during construction and oversight of IOQ execution.
- Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering (Engineers with a primary degree in Mechanical Engineering and relevant process experience may also be considered)
- 5 years design experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical sectors
- Self starter, experience in leading a design team and in coordinating the efforts of others
- Specialist experience in a key technical area e.g. clean utilities, API
- Good communication skills (ability to lead Technical and Safety reviews)
