**Job Overview**:
Manage the daily relationship with the appointed freight forwarder in charge of the transit operation to Batam. Conduct reporting. Ensure cargo is forwarded asap from/to Batam. Ensure mobilization and demobilization efforts for project cargo is carried out compliantly with relevant regulations. Operate in accordance with all McDermott company guidelines and procedures.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Give operational instructions to the appointed freight forwarder
- Oversee and coordinate all cargo movements in line with project requirement and in compliance with MDR standards and procedures.
- Re-documentation to ensure smooth entry of the goods in Batam
- Ensure the operation are in line with the company policies in term of Trade Compliance
- Coordinate and manage cargo transportation activities for the project vessels and project cargo happening in Singapore
- Review of project load lists and cargo classes to ensure Project compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Liaise with internal/external stakeholders
- Reporting as per requirements
- Use of systems and data entry to satisfy record-keeping requirements
- All other LTC related matters.

**Essential Qualifications and Education**:

- Minimum 5/10 Years in Logistics and Transport Activities
- Diploma in Logistics or International Business or equivalent
- Relevant Logistics & International Trade Supply Chain Management certification desirable although not mandatory.
- Strong command of English, both oral and written
- Good Knowledge of International Import and Export Controls
- Strong knowledge of Singapore customs, transportation and port regulation. Willing to work in Jurong port
