**Purpose of the role**
This role is within the ESG Finance Department (EFD), Asian Investment Banking Division. You will closely work with the APAC Head of ESG Strategy, Products and Operations and drive MUFG’s regional ESG strategy. We are looking for a high performing individual committed to drive our sustainable financing business and deliver on strategic priorities.
**Primary responsibilities**
- Take ownership of MUFG’s sustainable finance data management for APAC. You are a meticulous individual who can work with large data sets and perform analytics to draw actionable conclusions
- Consolidate ESG deal information and create smart dashboards to help the team achieve its KPIs and identify new pockets of opportunity for business growth.
- Create high quality strategy decks for stakeholder communication effectively showcasing MUFG’s sustainable finance initiatives and achievements in APAC.
- Keeping track and taking ownership of regular management reporting on EFD’s key initiatives, progress updates and industry developments.
- Enhance MUFG’s market presence by supporting our sustainability events and participation in industry forums.
- You will ensure all business / ESG risks are managed and with zero tolerance on compliance / regulatory matters.
**Job Requirement**:
- Bachelor / Master’s degree in any discipline.
- For Analyst: At least 1 year of internship/experience in business analyst, project management, banking and finance
- For Associate: At least 3 years of experience in business analyst, project management, banking and finance
- Excellent PowerPoint and Presentation skills
- Strong Data Analytics skills to handle large volumes of data and derive smart conclusions. Knowledge in tableau, Excel (including VBA/Macros)
- Excellent English language communication and stakeholder management skills to successfully collaborate with other departments and team members cohesively.
- Strong Project management skills with the ability to structure deliverables in a coherent manner.
- Interests/passion for ESG and/or ESG finance
- Keen to read research papers and keep up with latest innovations
