We are looking for a Global Vegoils & Advanced W&R Lead role to join our RP Feedstock Global Optimization & Trading team based in Singapore

The Global Vegoils & Advanced W&R Lead is coordinating Neste’s feedstock business relating to vegetable oils & advanced palm based W&R sourcing, optimization and hedging. The role is closely supporting Neste’s margin management with vegoils markets insights and analysis. The position also requires developing new or building on existing relationships in the market among feedstock producers to introduce key decision makers to the business, and negotiate supply contracts. The Global Vegoils & Advanced W&R Lead will need to be able to link the sourced feedstock volumes in with Neste’s Global Feedstocks Supply Chain across various markets, overseeing logistics, contracts negotiation, and development and implementation of the Sourcing Strategy.

More About The Job

In your role, you will
- Key role in steering our Global vegoil & advanced W&R pricing and supply strategy in cooperation with other Global leads to boost system optimization
- Manage P&L of several books by optimizing third party trading and system demand, including hedging strategies and execution
- Provide sourcing steering to local originators and traders to maximise P&L
- Develop and take lead on supplier relationships, including identifying, developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers
- Develop accurate market information/analysis on biofuels and feedstocks markets to provide insight to Senior Management on market trade flows and practices, including identification of further trading opportunities in the region
- Take constant pulse of the market, industry drivers and trends

We have a small team of experts working in RP Feedstock Global Optimization & Trading. Our team is responsible for optimising globally the feedstock entering the Neste refineries as well as developing third party trading. We also work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders in any projects that relate to feedstock supply.

The keys to success in the position

The best combination of experiences, skills and background is:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, environmental sciences or related field - Master’s degree is preferable
- Minimum 10 years’ proven commercial experience in feedstock supply & trading, vegoils trading experience is required. Experience in some advanced W&R will be a clear advantage
- Experience in physical land and waterborne logistics/supply chain management
- Proven knowledge of biofuels/feedstock products legislation and regulations
- Robust analytical skills, experience in vegoil S&D an advantage
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service
