**Material Compliance Team Lead**

**SUMMARY**
- You will be responsible for attaining product and materials compliance by preventing compliance issues; developing and executing compliance programs; completing documentation and recommending process changes.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Working with engineering manager to strategize development, set goals, review performance for both the compliance team and individuals.
- Performing day-to-day management of the compliance team - request prioritization, task delegation, progress monitor, stakeholder updating, problem solving, member support, team motivation, etc.
- Liaising with various departments and internal stakeholders to create collaborative work relationships - understand their requirements, propose the solutions, advocate the team values, obtain their supports when required, etc.
- Research and identify applicable compliance standards and requirements, and develop company compliance policies, strategies, and governances.
- Develop and lead the execution of short-term and long-range implementation programs including roadmap, plan, schedule, tools, resources, test standards, conformity assessments, reporting, performance measures, etc.
- Interpret compliance regulations and their requirements, analyse the associated business risks & implications, propose best-fit procedures, create risk mitigation plan, and advise stakeholders on the relevant matters.
- Prepare, file and sign-off compliance reports, declarations and other documents where applicable.
- Manage materials compliance database - Collect, review and keep compliance data updated with requisite data integrity and validity by implementing robust engineering approval process.
- Keep track of the latest regulatory developments, emerging compliance practices and methodologies to incorporate them into daily operation.
- Manage customer compliance requests, collaborate with relevant stakeholders to satisfy customers’ needs in a timely manner.
- Standardize relevant documentation processes and templates (reports, declaration, etc.) by adopting best industry practices.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's degree in electronics\electrical\mechanical\chemical or similar.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a compliance engineer.
- 3+ years of experience in electronics industry with good knowledge of electronics product development, manufacturing operation, supply chain management, engineering documentation standards and practices, etc.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards - RoHS, REACH (SCIP), Conflict Minerals, Prop 65, TSCA, POPs, VOCs, WEEE, etc. is requisite.
- Good knowledge of product labelling (CE, CCC, FCC markings, etc.) and packaging requirements is requisite.
- Experience in product safety and EMC certification (IEC62368\60601\55032\61000, etc.) is a strong plus but not requisite.
- Proficient in report writing, analysis and compliance procedures.
- Experienced in SAP or other ERP Systems.
- Experienced in project management, quality & reliability control.
- Familiar with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, SharePoint.
- Experience in Power Platform is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in both English and Chinese.
- Strong decision-making, organizational and time-management skills.
