**Overview**

As an Associate Psychologist in Adult Disability Services, you will be either working independently or supporting psychologists in their clinical work in Day Activity Centres (DAC) and/or Adult Disability Homes (ADH). The role will include a combination of these duties: doing referral or cognitive assessments such as administration of cognitive tests and caregiver’s interview under supervision; assisting in monitoring client’s behaviour and analysis; conducting Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA)-specific strategies with clients and/ or supportive counselling of caregivers, and performing administration works and program evaluation such as data collection and monitoring, creation of psycho educational content, staff training, liaison works etc.

**Responsibilities**

1. Conduct Assessments as per referral:

- Administer basic screener questionnaire (e.g., MMSE, MOCA, FAST) or specific assessment tests (e.g., mental capacity assessment, Vinelands) under supervision of a Psychologist
- Conduct caregiver interview using tools such as Vineland and Zarit Burden Interview
- Liaison work with caregivers or for caregivers, or other professionals for assessment, intervention, and right-siting purposes
- Write reports as necessitated
- Administrative duties as per referral, i.e., data entry and collation

2. Deliver Intervention
- Participate in intervention by coaching ground staff in conducting intervention
- Observe behaviours and participate in collecting qualitative and quantitative behavioural data for the purpose of assessment and intervention planning, e.g. writing behavioural descriptions, complete behavioural analysis charts for FBA
- Implement intervention strategies under supervision of psychologists and supervisors
- Facilitate in routine psycho-educational efforts to clients, professional staff, and/ or caregivers in the community
- Participate in special projects and individualized care planning, as directed, e.g., write up of psycho educational contents, SOPs etc.

3. Uplift professional practice in psychology
- Prepare data and provide reporting to stakeholders
- Collation and tracking of outcome measures
- Conduct statistical analysis of data
- Provide psychological input during team meetings

4. Maintain professional, legal and ethical standards
- Adhere to professional standards in clinical, legal and ethical practices
- Adhere to policies and procedures for professional practices

5. Self-development
- Attend CPH endorsed training/workshops/seminars so as to develop relevant knowledge and skills
- Receive formal supervision from CPH’s approved supervisors as part of professional development

6. Others
- Attend CPH meetings and events when necessary
- Prepare and submit reports e.g., monthly KPI tracking as required
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer/Management

**Requirements**:
1. Educational qualifications
- A minimum Honours degree in Psychology
- Experience in research and statistical analysis

2. Knowledge and experience
- Experience working in the social service sector in Singapore will be an advantage

3. Other qualities
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary/trans-disciplinary team
- Comfort level in working with clients and their families within the community setting
- Good psychological report writing and communication skills
- Fluency in local languages will be an advantage
