The main role of a Dental Assistant is to provide four-handed dentistry assistance to our dentists.

We have immediate vacancies for two competent dental assistants who will help make visits to our clinic an even better experience for patients. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentists' shoulders.

Dental assistants should be well-organised with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.

**Responsibilities**
- Welcome patients to the dental office
- Prepare dental operatories for patient arrival ensure all instruments, materials and equipment are ready
- Prepare patients for treatment ensuring their comfort
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Mixing of dental materials
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Manage the clinic's inventories and equipment maintenance
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Schedule appointments
- Assist in taking x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as dental assistant will be an advantage but not compulsory
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good customer service skills
- Good team player
- Ability to learn fast
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organised and reliable
- Good command of the English language

**Preferred Qualification**
- GCE ‘N’/’O’/’A’ level, Higher/NITEC, Polytechnic Diploma/College qualification
- Required language(s): English
- Preferably with minimum 1-year experience in Dental Assisting
- Required Skill(s): dental assisting, nursing, customer service, hospitality, admin, healthcare
- Preferably junior executive specialized in Healthcare - Nurse/Medical Support & Assistant or equivalent.
- Additional certification or training is an asset
- Any other relevant skills eg digital marketing, customer service, hospitality, copywriting, advertising, content creation, proficiency in Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Zoom etc will be taken into consideration
