[What the role is]

This is a 1-year contract position as a Project Engineer in the School of InfoComm Technology.

**[What you will be working on]**

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- **Project Leadership**:Drive AI components into the different projects in Generative AI Hub and research into feasible future projects to further support short courses conducted by school.
- **Generative AI Hub Maintenance and evolution**:Maintain existing and create new Generative AI based project for Generative AI Hub.
- **Mentorship and Leadership**:Mentor team members and foster a collaborative and innovative environment. Manage resource staffing for visit and events involving Generative AI Hub.

**[What we are looking for]**
- Degree or Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Software Project Management and/or Generative AI projects would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in developing and fine-tuning Generative AI models such as GPT, GANs or Diffusion models.
- Strong programming skills in Python and expertise with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch or JAX would be advantageous.
- Experience in deploying AI solutions in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or setting up self-hosted network would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas or processes to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including transformer architectures and language modeling.
- Experience in Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
- Experience in Terraform, Kubernetes and Docker would be advantageous.
