**Job requirements**:

- Design of equipment, gantry structures and related mechanical fixtures and specialized structures.
- Produce outline design drawings, detail drawings, drawings for assembly, drawings for parts fabrication.
- Supervise fabrication, assembly and carry out tests of abovementioned mechanical systems and parts. Ensure completeness of the drawings for all stages of the fabrication process and assembly process
- Assessment of overall performance, reliability and safety aspects of mechanical systems and customised structures and fixtures assembled.
- Identify, formulate and develop effective solutions to emerging problems.
- Engage in lifelong learning and develop new and innovative designs and methodologies
- Prepare reports and documentation in both English and Chinese.

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
- At least 5 years of engineering design experience in mechanical fixtures and specialized structures for manufacturing/production needs.
- Proficiency with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools, such as AutoCAD, and SolidWorks and ready to learn any new CAD/CAM tools such as Visualize.
- Creativity and strong analytical skills as well as
all foundations in mechanical engineering
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in
a clear and understandable manner
- Technical writing skills
- Good team leader and player
- Must be able to read, write and speak in Mandarin Chinese (to liaise with Chinesespeaking clients)

**Salary**: $4,500.00 - $8,000.00 per month
