**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**
The HO plays a critical role on JWB’s senior management team to ensure the success of JWB’s people, programmes, and strategic plans. She or he is responsible for all activities and operations of JWB’s work based in the Singapore office and partners with other senior management to advance JWB’s work across its migration routes in the region.

The following outlines the main areas of responsibility for the position:
**STRATEGIC PLANNING**
- Working alongside the Executive Director, develop and implement strategic plans and direction for the JWB Singapore office, in all areas of programmatic and workforce management.
- Work in close partnership with the senior management team for annual reviews of strategic priorities and execution plans; executes realignment as needed.

**PEOPLE MANAGEMENT**
- Oversee and manage the Singapore team (3-6), including providing one to one performance related mentoring and professional development for at least one staff.
- Support team members to improve the overall functioning of JWB’s operations in alignment with yearly strategic plans, support the ED to implement organisational changes as needed.

**PROJECT MANAGEMENT**
- Oversee the full suite of JWB Singapore’s programmatic activities in Singapore (casework and capacity building), and ensure timely execution of work.
- Support the Legal Officer in identifying potentially viable cases for strategic alignment.

**COMMUNITY RELATIONS**
- Lead and facilitate meetings with frontline NGO partners, law firm partners, and with new potential partners in Singapore.
- Working alongside the Executive Director and Fundraising lead, execute strategies that foster donor relations for JWB.

**LEGAL OVERSIGHT**
- Oversee the Legal Officer’s work on development of litigation packages, management of case files, and maintenance of legal networks for the office.
- Provide legal expertise to JWB’s team to support strategic case management.
- Guide the work of JWB Legal Fellows and law firm partners on complex legal research.

**GENERAL ADMINISTRATION**
As part of a small team, responsible for overseeing all areas of administration related to the office.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Legal degree and background (LLB, JD, LLM, etc).
- 3-5 years of managerial and/or leadership experience strongly preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years’ of legal experience. Disputes/arbitration background a plus but not required
- Native/near native English ability, with strong writing, communications, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Previous pro bono legal experience is highly desirable.
- Relevant experience in migrant worker issues or related fields welcome.
- Bahasa Indonesia or Tagalog language ability a plus

**TERMS OF WORK**
Full-time, position availability immediately. Salary range of S$5,500-S$6,200 per month, depending on experience.
