**JOB PURPOSE**

Assistant for wet tanning methods, including tanning, re-tanning, dyeing and chrome
- and metal-free processes and techniques; and finishing techniques; treating crocodile leather from different species.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist in ensuring a high-quality end-product from Raw to Crust, according to the highest industry standards and specific properties.
- Assist to develop, improve and test new tanning recipe.
- Assist to monitor tanning batches for recipe and process fine tuning.
- Troubleshoot tanning issues, propose and implement action plan.
- Involved in daily tanning operations.
- Attain his/her learning curve and gain technical knowhow via OJT training

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Qualifications : Minimum Diploma in leather technology
- Experience : Minimum 1-2 years’ of practical experience in tannery
- Experience in sustainable and environmentally friendly tanning, coating and finishing leather process
- Knowledge of hazardous substances; basic knowhow on SHE regulations
- Good color sense
- Good communication skills
