**Job Summary**

The restaurant supervisor oversees the daily operations of a restaurant, managing staff, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring guest satisfaction with food and service.

**Primary Responsibilities Ÿ**
- Supervises staff members and assigns tasks and responsibilities Ÿ
- Ensures all staff members adhere to proper food handling and safety procedures Ÿ
- Maintains clean and organized restaurant environment Ÿ
- Manage inventory and orders supplies as needed Ÿ
- Assists with menu planning and development Ÿ
- Communicate with customers and provide exceptional service Ÿ
- Handles customer complaints and resolves issues in a timely manner Ÿ
- Creates employee schedules and manages labor costs
- Train and develop employees to improve performance and productivity
- Monitors and maintains restaurant budgets and financial reports

**Qualifications Ÿ**
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry Ÿ
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures Ÿ
- Excellent customer service skills Ÿ
- Ability to manage staff and delegate tasks effectively Ÿ
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ÿ
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing situations, and multitask Ÿ
- Proficient in using restaurant management software and other computer programs Ÿ
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred
