**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Drive continuous improvement around processes and technical capabilities
- Ensure that all test activities comply with corporate policies and adhere to industry best practices
- Understand cross-functional dependencies and collaborate with other teams to meet end-to-end quality objectives
- Be accountable for tactical day to day execution including scheduling, test planning, execution, and risk management
- Foster partnerships with upstream and downstream teams including system analysts, architects, developers, and product owners or clients to ensure alignment and consistency in reducing product risk throughout the SDLC

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

**Qualifications**:
Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related field is required
- 5 years of software engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- 5 -7 years of software engineering experience with 3 years of manual and automated testing experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant technical discipline required, master’s degree a preferred
- At least 3+ years of experience in open systems testing, preferably in Electronic Payments
- Strong understanding of software development and test engineering processes and methodologies
- Strong Analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of Build tools like GIT
- Strong experience in Test Automation - Script development and Execution.
- Strong knowledge of database query tools like DB2, MySQL and ability to write and run complex queries for data validation
- Ability to deliver results on multiple projects in a complex and fast-moving environment
- Ability to generate creative and innovative solutions for test challenges and constraints
- Solid understanding of black box and white box testing, performance testing, test automation, requirements traceability and general test process reporting
- Experience in using industry standard test management tools (e.g. ALM / Quality Center, Clear Quest, JIRA).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, client service and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively and efficiently
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple competing priorities with mínimal direction from management
- Has strong sense of teamwork
- Experience in Java scripting language and Selenium WebDriver preferred
- At least 2+ years of experience in test automation and able to develop and maintain test scripts preferred
- Strong knowledge of web services testing using automation tools such SoapUI and JASON preferred
- Experience in software or tools development preferred
- Mainframe experience is added advantage
