DESIGNATION : Video Editor Intern

RESPONSIBILITIES

**What you will be doing**
- Edit video footage to craft creative stories
- Incorporate music, audio, and graphic elements to create a cohesive and appealing final product
- Assist the team with Video/Photoshoots
- Assist the team with pre-production work (ie. Storyboarding and production decks)
- Efficiently coordinate and organise production and post-production logistics, such as equipment and file archiving
- Engage in constructive communication and idea-sharing

- Learn about end-to-end shoot production with a good understanding of technical requirements.
- Producing video content to a high level (including scripting, producing and editing).

**Your learning outcome**

By the end of the internship, the Video Editor Intern will be able to gain experience in the following areas:

- Proficient Video Editing Skills: You will have gained hands-on experience with professional video editing software and will be able to proficiently edit and enhance video content.
- Creative Storytelling: You will develop the ability to tell engaging and compelling stories through video editing.
- Collaboration and Communication: Throughout the internship, you will have opportunities to work with cross-functional teams. By the end of the internship, you will be proficient in collaborating with team members, understanding project briefs, and communicating your ideas effectively to ensure the video content meets the desired objectives.
- Time Management and Meeting Deadlines: You will learn how to manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines. You will understand the importance of delivering high-quality work on time and develop strategies to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Quality Assurance: You will be able to review your work critically and ensure that it meets industry standards for video and audio quality, resolution, and consistency.
- Feedback Incorporation: You will learn to accept constructive feedback from mentors and colleagues and use it to continually improve your editing skills and techniques.
- Industry Knowledge: By the end of the internship, you will have a solid understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video editing and post-production.
- Portfolio Development: Throughout the internship, you will work on real projects, contributing to the development of a professional video editing portfolio that showcases your skills and growth.
- Professional Ethics: You will gain insight into the ethical considerations of video editing, including copyright issues, fair use, and respecting privacy and sensitive content.
