**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
The Warehouse Assistant facilitates the flow of stocks through the warehouse, by monitoring movement of the goods, storing products in the most efficient and appropriate way. He will be required to pay attention to details when checking for faulty or damaged goods and needs the ability to keep accurate and up-to-date records. He would also be required to drive and deliver goods to our retail stores and customers, or other relevant factory pick-ups.

He is responsible for the cleanliness of the warehouse premises, picking goods for orders (order fulfilment), keeping track on backorders, and the correct packing and labelling of orders.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITY**:
**Warehouse Storage and Inventory Control**

Allocate goods storage space

Relocate goods to adjust space for new products

Keep accurate records of goods in inventory system

Report to superior on goods which are low in stock

Ensure all documentations are done immediately and accurately (stock issues, stock receipts, stock in, stock out) on inventory system

Maintain safe and clean working environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and packing area neat

Keep the warehouse clean by doing weekly housekeeping, such as sweeping, dusting and mopping all the storage areas

**Receiving of Goods**

Receiving goods when unloading from delivery vehicles

Stock check on the receiving goods against Purchase Order (PO) quantity and report any discrepancies

Conduct product quality checks based on Sonata QC standards and procedures

Report to superior on any damaged, missing or faulty goods

Ensure stocks received are immediately recorded into the system (stock in/ PO stock receive)

Proper filing of suppliers’ invoices and Delivery Order (DO)

Storing of goods into designated area in the warehouse

Labelling and barcoding of goods

**Delivery of Goods**

Ensure all orders are packed correctly before delivery

Ensure all DOs and Invoices are ready before delivery

Prepare ready orders in delivery area for delivery

Practice proper documentation of all movement of products in the warehouse

Pack all orders in accordance with relevant procedures and standards

Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods

Pack and load products onto vehicle according to company’s procedures and standards

Deliver orders to customers according to assigned routes

Deliver stock requests to retail outlets promptly according to the delivery schedule

Review deliveries with customers against the DO, obtain proper documentation (eg. signed DO), and collect payment from customers

Report any delivery discrepancies to person-in-charge

**Mailing of Orders**

Ensure all parcels are attached with stamps for normal postage

Ensure receiver details are well attached onto the parcels

Check if parcels are all sealed before mailing

All parcels must be mailed promptly according to the schedule

Separating normal, registered and overseas mails accordingly and pass on delivery information (eg. tracking number) to the relevant departments

Submit all receipts and claims to finance
