My client, an Asian banking client is currently looking for an IT Service Manager to join their growing team.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the IT service delivery capabilities and spearheading the adoption of service management best practices across our operations. As a Technology Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that IT support services align with business requirements and goals, effectively addressing end-user needs and resolving systems issues. Your expertise in ITSM/ITIL methodologies will be instrumental in establishing a robust service management framework and driving continuous improvement.
- Oversee the delivery of IT support services, ensuring they meet business objectives, fulfill end-user requirements, and effectively address systems issues.
- Provide strategic direction and goal setting for IT operations, defining roles and responsibilities within the department to optimize team performance.
- Develop comprehensive performance measures and consistently report metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize ITSM key performance measures to formulate tactical and strategic recommendations that enhance service delivery and support business growth.
- Establish effective metrics for IT support services and continuously monitor performance against targets to ensure adherence to service level agreements.
- Champion continuous service improvement and foster ongoing process maturity by conducting regular reviews of processes and tools, analyzing trends and metrics, and actively engaging with stakeholders.
- Drive data-centric service management by implementing metrics and reporting systems to provide senior management and stakeholders with valuable insights into IT performance.
- Promote the transformation of IT support services by deploying best practices and leveraging innovative technologies to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
- Drive technology advancement and automation to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Oversee the alignment and revision of regional IT BCP plans to ensure preparedness for potential disruptions and business continuity.

**Job Requirements**:

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in the financial services or banking industry, preferably within the technology department.
- Proven expertise and in-depth understanding of ITIL best practices and methodologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of banking technology functions and experience working with virtual teams across the Asia Pacific region.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment, effectively managing multiple tasks while consistently delivering high-quality solutions.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills to foster collaboration, build consensus, and secure stakeholder buy-in.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in Corporate, Institution, and/or Transaction Banking is a plus. Familiarity with MAS guidelines and the Banking Act is an added advantage.
