**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Prepare full set of accounts such as Balance sheet, P&L, Audit schedule.
- Analyze and check figure/reports submitted to various departments.
- Handle payroll for Managerial Job Grade and below
- Oversee and monitor Finance operations mainly Income Audit, General cashier, Account Payable, Accounts Receivables and General Ledger.
- Check invoices and cash collections on a daily basis.
- Monitor daily cash flow and perform fund transfer.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly accounting and financial reports.
- Present relevant information to General Manager, Financial Controller and Department Heads’ for their information and decision making.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and business plans.
- Prepare Monthly bank reconciliation.
- Submit GST, annual IRAS and CPF according to statutory requirements.
- Keep track of renewal of contracts in the Resort.
- Monitor and process licensing such as Hotel license, Food & hygiene license, Money Changer license.
- Report statistics to relevant government bodies such as MAS & SHA.
- Keep track of every financial transaction that occurs in the hotel to ensure that all incoming and outgoing money is recorded and handled accurately. Discrepancies need to be investigated, corrected and reported
- Responsible for the daily supervision of staff and finance operations.
- Conduct OJT (On-the-Job training) for new and existing staff.
- Conduct performance appraisals and manage their performance by coaching and training them in accordance with established hotel standards.
- Assist in Insurance claims when required.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned by Financial Controller.
- May be required to cover the duties of Financial Controller in his absence
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Accountant roles, preferably in hotel industry.
- Payroll knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Hotel systems.
- Must have good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Meticulous and possess good leadership skills.
**Salary**: From $4,000.00 per month
