URGENT

The jobholder will be joining the Payment & Records Branch, HR Services Centre that is set up under the Ministry HQ. He/she will be a part of the Payment Management team that provides centralised processing of scheme payments (includes both annual/monthly payments and deductions) for MHA officers across different schemes of service.

**PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES**

3. The jobholder’s principle accountabilities include:
a. Process payments in a timely and accurate manner. This includes conducting verification checks to confirm officers’ eligibility for the payments, working with stakeholders to ensure timely execution of the payment activities and post payment checks to ensure accuracy of the payouts.

b. Assists in the system preparatory work for the various payments such as ensuring accuracy of the data and working with the technical team to rectify errors or issues encountered.

c. Facilitate the implementation of a new workflow for submission of claims including validation checks, management of post claims audit checks and system enhancements.

d. Ensure all information is documented and properly stored as part of the knowledge management solution.

**PRE-REQUISITIES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS**

4. The jobholder should have the following pre-requisites, skills and qualifications:
**a. Proficient in MS Office especially Excel;**:

**c. Meticulous with good analytical and problem-solving skills;**:
d. Knowledge in SAP or relevant experience in remuneration matters would be an added advantage;
**e. Ability to work well independently as well as in a team **:
