**Machinist**

**Job description**:
**Role and responsibilities**:

- Understands procedures, work orders, Drawings, set-up sheets and Part Report and follow work instructions to plan the job layout with as few set-ups as possible.
- Sets-up machine as required using prescribed detail and operating procedures.
- Monitoring and manage cutting parameters such as speeds, feed rate, depths of cuts and etc. during machining with relation to parameters specified in the program instruction
- Promptly reports any operational problems or safety issues with machinery, tools or equipment to Line Leader.
- Actively participate and stain high level of 5S

**Reporting to**:Line Leader

**Location**: Singapore

**You are meant for this job if**:

- NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Minimum three years’ experience in oil tool industry
