**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Develop scalable data pipelines**leveraging**Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Scala**to ingest, transform, and analyze large datasets.
- Configure and deploy**Quantexa software**across public and private cloud environments, including**AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud**.
- Write efficient, fault-tolerant, and production-ready code for data processing systems.
- Optimize ETL processes to ensure**data quality, accuracy, and performance**.
- Work closely with solution architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Implement**DevOps best practices**for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring using**Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Bash scripting**.
- To technically communicate with demonstrable experience of working in rapidly changing client environments
- Work on testing libraries of common programming languages (such as ScalaTest or equivalent). Importantly, you'll know the difference between varying test types (unit test, integration test) and can cite specific examples of what they have written themselves.

**What You Bring**
- 4 - 6 years of experience in data engineering, big data processing, or software development.
- Strong programming skills in**Scala, Java, or Python**associated with data engineering.
- Must have experience in**Quantexa**.
- Hands-on experience building**batch processing pipelines**in a production environment.
- Familiarity with**version control (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins), and DevOps practices**.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in**fast-paced, client-facing environments**.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
