Roles & Responsibilities

**EXPECTATIONS**
- Experience in hands-on software development
- Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Software Engineering and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
- Create excellence both in terms of results quality and system scalability through continuous evaluation, analysis, and refinement of the system implementation
- Ability to capture customer requirements and translate them into software specifications
- Accountability, delivery of the assigned tasks on time, ensuring high quality and high performance
- Work in an agile development environment which requires the individual to be self-driven, take decisions independently and be flexible in order to cater to the demand
- Closely work with customers, partners and internal teams to enhance the solution and systems, troubleshooting data issues etc.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Participate in the technical development as per assignments in change request (enhancements) and defect fixing
- Perform analysis of business requirements & code programs as per SAP coding standards
- Manage / co-ordinate software change & release management as per department’s process & procedures.
Co-ordinate & provide user support during user acceptance test and post implementation
Collaborate with internal teams or/& vendors on assignments to deliver as per agreed timelines
- Impact analysis for the change request & enhancements
- Responsible for BW job monitoring.
**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in SAP BW and SAP BOBJ
- Extensive experience in SAP BW/4 HANA
- Extensive knowledge in data modelling, particularly on BW/4HANA concept
- Detailed knowledge of SAP BW modules in SAP BW 7.x
- SAP HANA Studio environments with knowledge of Hana Calculation View, HANA SQL
- Strong ABAP programming skills specifically on user exits, BADI, and routines in BW staging and reporting
- Knowledge of BO reporting tools such as SAP Crystal Reports, SAP Webi, SAP Analysis are added advantage
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication, relationship skills, and a strong team player
**BW-ABAP Role Expectations**
**Must Have**
- Perform BW system configuration and development, e.g., BW4/HANA modelling, design of InfoObjects, ADSO (Advanced Data Store Objects), CP (Composite Provider), Process chains and AO Queries.
- Develop and maintain WEBI reports and other BI tools.
Manage User Acceptance Testing; provide guidance and assistance to users in test scripts creation, issues tracking and resolution
- Perform deployment of development objects in a 3-tier landscape (Dev, QA, Production).
- Maintain and ensure documentation are relevant and updated, e.g., Change requests, Functional & Technical specs, SOP guidelines, Report inventory, etc.
- ensure SLA performance, quality of work and adherence to Group IT policies and guidelines, e.g., Application support and Service desk support.
**Good to have**
- Experience in Open Hub/outbound interfaces and inbound interfaces
- Experience in SAP Lumira reports
- Experience in ABAP CDS view
- Experience in Power BI
