**What the role is**
- DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, OPERATIONS ANALYSIS & RESEARCH
**What you will be working on**
- You will utilise a variety of data analytics and visualisation tools to better understand the interactions between different datasets in LTA’s data warehouse of public transport data to support the performance monitoring and management of buses and trains. With a deep understanding of the nature of the data and how to best utilise it, you will support the rest of the division by tapping on various data sources. You will also be required to capture trends and the performance of bus and train services for management reporting. You will be part of a team to help oversee the successful implementation of new projects that will enhance LTA’s data gathering and analytics capabilities. You will need to liaise with vendors, follow-up on project milestones, oversee user testing and give guidance to your staff to prepare project documentation. You will also need to develop an understanding of bus and train operations in order to develop these projects to address user needs.
**What we are looking for**
- Requirements: - Tertiary qualification in computing, data/business analysis, statistics, mathematics, economics or related discipline - An interest in improving public transport and ability to work as part of a team is essential - Knowledge of data or statistical analysis techniques is required - Prior experience and/or knowledge of project management is required - Attention to detail with a systematic approach to problem-solving - Good staff management skills - Good writing and presentation skills - Those without working experience are welcome to apply
