- Preparation, cooking and presenting dishes within your specialty
- To prepare authentic Chettinad cuisine and all varieties of Biryani.
- Experience in South Indian varieties of food.
- Prepping and preparing food materials (mixing dough and flour, preparing meat, cutting vegetables,etc.)
- Cooking and baking in the tandoor.
- Cooking kebabs and tikka (chicken,lamb, paneer)
- Assist with stock ordering and monitoring procedures.
- Should have knowledge in using various spices and herbs in preparing dishes.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety at all times
- Take responsibility for your own personal development
- Demonstrate excellent food preparation practices, portion control and end to end food production
- Perform any reasonable duties as required from time to time in order to contribute to the achievement of business aims and objectives.
- Support the Head Chef in the introduction of new seasonal dishes.
- Cascade your knowledge and expert cooking to all kitchen staff.
- Able to prepare orders in a short span of time.
- Should be ready to work in any shifts or in split shifts and rotational weekly off.
