So, when you say hello to us, you are really empowered to say “Hello BIG Possibilities”._ **Be a Part of Something BIG** This Sourcing Specialist will be the team lead to Corporate Procurement’s Sourcing Specialists and is primarily responsible for managing the overall team performance in handling low value sourcing projects, reporting into the Senior Manager, Corporate Procurement. The team has the deliverables of performing sourcing for low value purchases and due diligence review to validate compliance against Singtel’s Group Procurement Policy and authorization limits, provides sourcing support services to Strategic Sourcing/Category Managers who manage higher tiers of spend. A strong understanding of sourcing and procurement processes, being resourceful and the ability to guide team colleagues and users to attain compliance with the procurement governance is crucial. Deep knowledge and experience in sourcing for indirect and IT commodities is required of the role to provide advisory to the team. The team lead is the first point of contact for escalations regarding the tactical sourcing projects, and to conduct regular analysis and self-audit on the team’s performance for improvement. Participation in system enhancement projects may also be required from time-to-time. For alignment with the broader Procurement strategies, the team lead drives the engagement with the peer Procurement teams for review meetings and identifying consolidated spend/supplier opportunities. **Make an Impact by** - Lead and drive the team to execute tactical sourcing strategies across the organization; ensure coherent supplier selection, sourcing decisions and product development - Report cost savings using established cost savings methodologies - Drive monthly portfolio reporting and review with strategic sourcing managers, for their overall category planning - Liaise with Strategic Sourcing/Category Managers and highlight any concerns observed in the tactical sourcing space, to ensure alignment with broader strategy - Accountable for escalations while offering recommendations for effective solutions - Ensure team delivers the procurement support in sourcing projects conducted for business stakeholders - Support in training and developing a high performing sourcing team - Conducts reviews for opportunity in consolidation and strategies within the team’s purview - Ensure team’s compliance with internal requirements and procurement market practices - Initiate and sustain effective communication on sourcing goals with key users - Participate in continuous improvement projects - Guide business users on procurement policy and practices **Skills for Success** - Degree in business/finance related - Minimum 8 years of working experience in sourcing/ Procurement - Strong understanding of source to pay process - Has handled high volumes of spot-buy, ITQs, RFQs - Knowledge in sourcing platforms like Ariba, Emptoris, Coupa - Strong, communication, influencing, collaboration and negotiation skills - Ability to plan and prioritize work **Rewards that Go Beyond** - Full suite of health and wellness benefits - Ongoing training and development programs - Internal mobility opportunities We are committed to a safe and healthy environment for our employees & customers and will require all prospective employees to be fully vaccinated.
