We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Vice President, Real Assets & Structured Finance - Global Banking.**
**Principal Responsibilities**
- Work with the RAF team with a focus on ECA supported financing transactions
- To coordinate with global Export Finance team to engage with the relevant ECAs
- To lead client marketing and deal execution activities as part of integrated transaction teams.
- To perform credit and risk analysis, prepare credit memos and present transactions to credit business / committees
- To supervise and ensure that the NEW DEAL, DPC, CAC, eTCR, IOA, CARM, ORC, TEC Files, and such other internal documents required are being prepared on a timely manner
- To supervise Associate/Analysts / Interns and provide guidance / training
- Coordinate marketing efforts to ensure consistent deal flow and strong client relationship development
- Work on ECA financings transaction
- Review of financial analysis, risk analysis, structuring, documentation and information memorandum
- Review preparation of credit materials, including risk strategies
Requirements
**Requirements**:
- Ability to develop a strategic dialogue with the client on a multi-dimensional basis
- Experience of financial modelling, valuation and execution
- Strong credit analysis skills
- Infrastructure sector knowledge (energy, transportation, mining)
- Background in project and export finance execution with cross product exposure is preferred but not essential
- Good knowledge of HSBC Group and products, and a strong network of contacts across different business areas
- Ability to work under time pressure and to travel occasionally
- Good team player able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in different teams / offices
